.WEBSITES FOR GOING INDEPENDENT
Web Studio Lab designs and writes websites for professionals who have set up on their own. We have built websites for independent businesses since 2016, and most projects start from £2,000.

.WE WRITE IT WITH YOU
Most people who go independent know their work inside out and find it hard to write about themselves. That is normal. We ask the questions, listen to how you talk about your work and write the words for every page. You read it, change anything that does not sound like you, and sign it off.
People often tell us they want a website that attracts clients. What they really need is one that persuades the right clients to trust them enough to get in touch. Good writing is what does that.
.LOOKING SMALL AND NEW
Clients judge you by your website before they ever hear you speak. A site put together at the kitchen table can make years of experience look like a side project. We design yours so you look like the established professional you already are.
.NOT BEING FOUND
A good website nobody sees is a brochure in a drawer. We build every page so search engines and AI assistants can read it, understand what you do and point the right people to you.
.BEING ON YOUR OWN
At the firm there was always someone to ask. Now there is only you. With Web Studio Lab you will have a direct point of call contact from the first moment to long after launch. And if something looks like it is going wrong, we stay calm and sort it.
.BEING STUCK IF IT BREAKS
Your site is built on WordPress or Shopify, so it is never a mystery only one person understands. We look after the hosting and support, so if something breaks, you call us and we fix it.
.TESTIMONIALS
.WHAT CHANGES FOR OUR CLIENTS
Clients who came to us after building their own site tell us the same thing afterwards: people who visit are impressed. Some have raised their prices. Some have started turning work away. Some have been with us for seven years.

.YOUR FIRST MONTH .YOUR FIRST YEAR
We talk through your business, the clients you want and the work you want more of. Then we write the words, design the pages and build the site. Most websites take around four weeks, and you see it at every stage, so nothing arrives as a surprise.
Your website is not a leaflet you print once. It is your shop floor, and it should grow with you. If you want it, we can include ongoing help in your package: adding new work, publishing articles and adjusting pages as your business finds its feet.
How much does a website cost?
Most projects start from £2,000. Every job is priced after we talk, because a five page site for a consultant and a shop with hundreds of products are very different pieces of work.
Do I have to write the words myself?
No. We write them with you. You tell us about your work, we turn it into clear pages, and you approve every word before anything goes live.
How long does it take?
Most websites take around four weeks. It depends on how many pages you need and how quickly you can give feedback, so we agree a timeline with you before we start.
Will people find me on Google?
We build every site so search engines and AI assistants can read it properly: clear headings, page titles and descriptions. Nobody can honestly promise you a position on Google, and we will not. We give you the strongest possible start.

.MAKE THIS YOUR NEXT MOVE
Tell us what you do and where you want to take it. We read every message and aim to reply within one business day.
